Administration Interface
All of our customers (Zope Basic and Instance) receive access to a web administration interface.
With this interface you have access to the following services:
Change Passwords
The Change Password function can be used to change all of your passwords, except of the Zope user passwords, which
you can change in Zope Management Interface directly. This option changes your Unix Password, so the password for
accessing the Web Administration Interface, your SecureShell login and your FTP account are changed.
Here you can view a screenshot of the "Change Password" option.
Historic System Statistic
The System Statistic option can be used to view the load on the server (not only your instance or account).
This option gives you insight in the usage of the CPU, Memory, Harddisc, IRQ's and Network.
Here you can view a screenshot of the "System Statistic" option.
System Status
The System Status option can be used to view the status of several services on the server (not only your instance or account).
You can check, if all needed services (including your Zope instance) are running.
Here you can view a screenshot of the "System Status" option.
System Documentation
The System Documentation option can be used to search and view all documentation installed on the server.
Here you can view a screenshot of the "System Documentation" option.
Mail Accounts
The "Mail Accounts" option can be used to administer your Email settings, forwardings, aliases etc.
Here you can view a screenshot of this option.
Webmail
The "WebMail" option can be used to read and send your Emails via the web.
The 'webmail accounts' are usually separated from the normal mail accounts,
but you can forward an existing 'normal' mail account to webmail, e.g. if someone
goes to holiday and wants to read mails remotely.
You can view screenshots of the Inbox screen,
Compose and
Read options.
mySQL Database Administration
The "mySQL Admin" option can be used to administer your mySQL settings, databases etc.
